KÖZVIL is the first Hungarian public lighting company, serving municipalities for nearly 19 years. KÖZVIL provides services related to the maintenance and modernization of public lighting systems. The company has modernized and operates the public lighting systems of over 420 municipalities, managing a total of 130,000 lamp fixtures nationwide.
ErdSoft's task was to modernize and automate the company's system. Dealing with a company with an annual turnover of millions of euros, the task required a significant level of responsibility on our part, and we had to carry out precise, high-quality work.
KÖZVIL Zrt. previously used a system called SugarCRM, which became outdated over time and no longer met the company's specific needs. The company required a solution that would significantly ease the work of its employees. The old system was not responsive, and automated response handling was not possible.
The goal of our development was to provide a solution that perfectly meets the unique needs of KÖZVIL Zrt., automates various tasks, and thus significantly streamlines the work for the employees, enabling a much higher level and quality of service.
We provided a solution for KÖZVIL Zrt. based on our CRM Core system. The modern CRM system includes numerous automated features and other important and convenient solutions, greatly simplifying the work not only for KÖZVIL Zrt.'s employees but also for the municipalities utilizing the company's services.
Employees no longer have to struggle with Excel spreadsheets, handwritten notes, or sending electronic messages, as they can now use a tablet application thanks to the new system. This application is integrated with the maintenance system and the complex central warehouse management system.
The implementation of the system was initiated in 2017, and the work was completed in 2018. Thanks to the new system, numerous unnecessary work processes were eliminated, and the automated reporting system provides insights into the current state in a tabular, graphical, and textual format. An important advantage of the new solution is that it timely alerts the user about deadlines.
Therefore, the solution based on the CRM Core system not only significantly simplifies the tasks of KÖZVIL Zrt.'s employees but also benefits the 420 municipalities utilizing the company's services.
